City of Banning Launches Partnership with PlanetBids
The new e-procurement system will help streamline the City’s bidding process.
Banning, CA – This City of Banning’s Purchasing Division is pleased to announce the implementation of its new e-procurement system, PlanetBids. This industry-leading software has helped numerous public agencies streamline their procurement and bidding process and connect with suppliers more efficiently and cost-effectively.
Upcoming bid opportunities can now be viewed by clicking the “BIDS & RFP’S" link on the Purchasing web page here: http://banning.ca.us/136/Purchasing. Bid opportunities published prior to May 19, 2017 can still be viewed on the same web page.
As part of this new process, the City of Banning will no longer utilize the “Notify Me” tool for procurement opportunities. Vendors must sign-up for bid opportunity notifications through PlanetBids by clicking the link titled "Vendor Registration & Insurance Submittal" on the Purchasing web page.
