The deadline to submit applications for the City of Banning’s Fiscal Year 2017-2018 Community Development Block Grants is Friday, September 29th by 5:00 P.M.
Banning, CA – The City of Banning is now accepting applications for the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), for Fiscal Year 2017-2018.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), through Riverside County Economic Development (EDA) administers the CDBG funding. The funding will allow the community the opportunity to provide services within the City of Banning.
Eligible public services include but are not limited to:
- Healthcare
- Job training
- Childcare
- Services for the homeless
- Recreation programs
- Services for seniors
- Public safety services
A description of guidelines and program eligibility criteria for individual programs is located online at https://riversidecoeda.cgweb.org/index.php. Organizations must submit an application to the City of Banning to be considered for a sub-recipient award. Applications can be found on the city’s website in the ‘City News’ section.
