The City Council of the City of Banning is accepting applications for a vacancy on the City of Banning Planning Commission.
It is a volunteer position and you must be a registered voter and reside in the city of Banning. You will also need to be fingerprinted and pass a background investigation.
There are certain qualifications in regards to the Planning Commissioner position and that information will be available with the application.

The newly appointed commissioner will serve the remaining term of the vacant position, which expires February 2019.
Applications are available at the Information Desk or the City Clerk’s Office at the Banning Civic Center, 99 E. Ramsey Street. You may also download an application on the City’s website: www.ci.banning.ca.us
Deadline to submit your application to the City Clerk is Friday, June 15, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. and applicants will be expected to attend a brief orientation session at City Hall to explain the role of commissioners on Monday, June 18, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
The Planning Commission meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
